East of England International |
|
Who? |
Until the end of March 2010, East of England International (EEI) was the organisation responsible for working with companies seeking to trade internationally and assist foreign-owned businesses looking to invest in the region. EEI was funded by and worked in partnership with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) and a wide range of businesses and partners in the region. |
|
What? |
The PR support was split into two sections; trade and inward investment support. It was vital that the support offered by EEI in both sections was publicised to businesses across the region. |
|
How? |
A steady stream of success stories were issued to publicise EEI’s role in foreign owned businesses setting up in our region, and strategically placed advertorials and trade statistics-based released were written to publicise the business support on offer for companies wishing to export. |
|
Outcome |
Over 300 pieces of coverage were achieved which worked out as 5 clippings per press release and a return on investment of 21. The results achieved for EEI were awarded silver in the CIPR PRide awards in 2010 in the corporate and business communications category. |

| Testimonial | The team supported our in-house resource in producing some excellent PR results, which, without a doubt, added an extra dimension to the improved reputation of EEI. They work very well as a team, are creative and responsive, and worked hard to ensure every piece of work they produced included our key messages, and was tailored to the target audiences.” Richard Pike, EEI |
